Hello World
I received my Open Water Diver certification from PADI in September of 1989. I immediately proceeded to get my Advanced Open Water certification a month later. Both times I made my certification dives at Dutch Springs in Pennsylvania. Since that time, for the most part, my scuba diving has been limited to vacations in Bermuda, the Bahamas, Carribbean and Hawaii. I did make one Northeast wreck dive on the Spartan in 1996. The Spartan was a tug that was intentionally sunk in 1986. Of course, diving only on vacations means diving far less frequently than I’d like, so I’ve made up my mind to get more into wreck diving up here in the Northeast. Anyway, I’ll try to chronicle my experiences doing both kinds of diving here.
A lot of divers first got interested in scuba from watching Jacques Cousteau. As for me, you can blame it on this guy:
Yep. Lloyd Bridges the star of Sea Hunt.
